The English speaking countries that possessed the gates of their enemies.The evidence is there although at first it may appear to be in rather cryptic terminology, this prophecy reveals that Ephraim(Britain ) and Manasseh(USA )were the two main nations to whom these blessings were directed at.These two countries are part of modern-day Israel.This is not referring to the tiny state of Israel that exists today surrounded by hostile islamic countries.
One of the blessings that are promised to their descendents is the control they will have over the gates of their enemies (Genesis 22:17; 24:60), biblical prophecy reveals.
I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies ( Genesis 22:17 )"May your descendants possess the gates of those who hate them" (Genesis 24:60)
However there were rules attached to these blessings and these nations have failed to follow them through so now they have been and will continue to see these blessings removed.
"If you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, and if you despise My statutes… I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those that hate you will reign over you… I will break the pride of your power… I will lay your cities waste" (Leviticus 26:14–19, 31 Leviticus 26 verses 18-20: “If even then you will not listen to me, I will punish you seven times more for your sins; I will break the power of which you are so proud, I will make the sky hard as iron for you and the earth hard as bronze, till you spend your strength in vain; for your land shall bear no crops and your trees shall bear no fruit”
The United States and Britain, two of the former powers of global politics were able to gain control of the most strategic passageways, - Gibraltar, Suez, Singapore, and the Panama Canal, from around the years of A.D. 1800. These gates were crucial and served to play an indispensable role that helped give the Allied Powers victory over the Axis Nations during World War II. The fact that the two nations acquired these gateways is proof of their biblical identity as modern-day Israel as foretold by prophecy, as these events showed their claiming of their unconditional birthright as was promised by God to Abraham's descendants. However, the past 50 years have seen them surrendering their power as gatekeepers .
The surrender of this authority and power over the sea gates is still very much part of Biblical prophecy. The Bible gave the prophecy that the modern-day Israel ( the United States and Britain) will rise and fall, and it also prophesied the loss of these sea gates, years before these actually came to pass. The loss of power of the British and the Americans over the foreign sea gates serve as solid proof that the nations are indeed the remnants of the people of Israel as was foretold in prophecy.
The Suez Crisis
Conflicts regarding the Suez Canal are actually equally due to politics and the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. The British Empire was well-renowned for its shipping industry, achieving greatness because of their maritime accomplishments. Eventually, the British troops, along with the French forces, invaded Egypt to try to seize control of the Suez sea gate. While they succeeded, the Egyptian nation retaliated by sinking 40 ships from the British fleet that were stationed in the Canal. Eventually, The United Nations, led by the United States, felt compelled to intervene in the brewing war between Britain and Egypt, eventually arranging a truce with Britain receiving the short end of the stick in the agreement. Eventually, the British troops withdrew from the canal. July 26, 1956 saw the Suez Canal completely slipping from British control into the hands of President Nasser of Egypt. The loss of the Canal was yet another chunk out of the British Empire. On July 31, 1966, a few days after the tenth anniversary of the Suez crisis, the British Colonial Office in London shut down, signifying the end of what was once a glorious and powerful force in global politics.
Singapore's Bid for Independence
A year before the British Colonial Office closed doors for the last time, the British were already experiencing problems , this time coming from the East. Singapore was originally part of the British Empire in an 1824 treaty. The agreement effectively gave them a foothold in Asia, with Singapore effectively serving as a gateway that connects the Far East and the Indian Ocean together. The British benefited from the agreement in terms of finances, with the nation prospering under their rule. Thousands of Chinese and Malay immigrants flocked in droves to Singapore to take advantage of the higher wages offered under the British rule. At the same time, the move to take control of the nation was also strategic in the part of the British where politics were concerned, with Singapore serving as their Asian base during World War II, and it also served to help the British keep peace on the Malay Peninsula when the war ended. While they effectively fought off the Communist attempts to take control of the island until 1960, they eventually relinquished their control without a fight. While the loss of control over Singapore wasn't as bloody as the Suez Crisis, the effect was the same, as the British lost their authority over a sea gate, a surrender that affected global politics.
The Panama Canal
The British weren't the only people who were giving up control over sea gates . At the end of the previous century, Jimmy Carter signed a controversial treaty that promised the withdrawal of the most powerful nation from Panama. US troops pulled out without a fight. Their position was eventually taken over by Communists, including a Hong Kong-based port-facilities company that has Communist ties to Beijing, who took over the control over the ports of entry of the Panama Canal.The irony was not lost in the minds of many Americans that the lives of 58 thousand American soldiers were lost fighting a war against the China supported communist regime of North Vietnam,only to see the Panama gateway to the Pacific and Atlantic handed over to Chinese communists some years later.The politics of negotiate and surrender wormed their way into the mindset of these English speaking nations yet again.
Gibraltar
Gibraltar,gateway to the Mediterranean and Atlantic.In 2002 British Foreign Secretary Jack straw tried to do a shabby secret deal with Spain to hand over Gibraltar .It was said by officials in the negotiations that "good progress had been made". When it was discovered that secret negotiations had taken place,the talks were abandoned.The Spanish will try again to grab Gibraltar sometime in the near future.Next time Britain will have even more weak willed politicians involved,and the handover of the rock will be yet another gateway surrendered.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong is yet another area that has been surrendered by Britain without a fuss. The British nation effectively gave this South China Sea region to Communists in 1997. As a result, the Communist Party of China not only inherited one of the world's richest trade centers, they were also able to gain control of a $380 million naval base that previously belonged to the British.
With the surrender of Hong Kong to these Socialists, the only remaining part of the British Empire was in South Africa, where there another waterway was located. They eventually surrendered this to the African National Congress, another party that was affiliated with Marxist Communists. The relinquishing of this sea gate ended what little power Britain had left over the Cape area.
Even Malta was surrendered by the British . In spite of the fact that the island helped ensure British success in the Mediterranean region during World War II, the British granted Malta political independence in 1964, and the last of the troops left the island in 1979. Once called the British lake, the British exert little or no power over the Mediterranean region. The only sea gate victory that the British could claim in the past 50 years was not without a price. Argentina was able to seize control of a sea gate 250 miles from their southern coast, the sea gate of which gave the British nation naval power in the Straits of Magellan. While the British successfully wrested back the control from Argentina, they also faced massive losses, with Argentina sinking six of their ships and downing 34 of their aircrafts, killing a total of 236 British soldiers. The fact that Argentina actually had the nerve to challenge Britain was a sign of Britain's dwindling power in global politics, as reflected in the loss of their numerous sea gates, either due to war or by handing these over willingly. Some people have already given the prophecy that the politics allowing British control over the Falklands is already numbered, and they will also lose control of the remaining sea gate there as they did in the other regions in the world.
The last half of the 20th century saw massive losses experienced by the United States and Britain, two global superpowers in the world of politics, as evidenced by their dwindling rule over the critical sea gates. This is all in fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.
Here is this vital prophecy in Deuteronomy 28:52, it is pointing to modern day English-speaking people of Britain: “And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.”
When Ephraim (Britain ) does surrender the Falklands, whether it is through negotiation or military means,- this national humiliation upon Britain is the one thing from which it will never recover.Britain will limp on for a time. Enemies will see Britain's lack of fight as a sign of weakness.A strong German european union will be waiting to inflict total devastation upon Britain (Ephraim ) Israel,( Judah ) and USA (Manasseh ).
The time will soon arrive when our nations(Britain, U.S, Israel will be broke, the cities destroyed,our peoples taken into captivity by cruel enemies we do not currently suspect. Revelation 13 and 17,along with Daniel 2 and 7, say that an alliance, union of TEN nations in europe will plunge the world into the great tribulation.

God states in His Word that He will punish the descendants of end-time Israel (which includes Britain) through a German-led Europe (see Isa. 10:5; Hos. 5:5). They will fall to a mighty military, with the remnant being taken captive into Germany (Hos. 9:3; 10:6).
